Friction offers multiple advantages, as it provides the needed traction for acceleration, deceleration, and turning between tires and the road; it also slows down and stops the vehicle through friction in the brake pads and disc. Additionally, it aids in maintaining control of the vehicle, especially during sharp turns and on slippery roads.
